Who are we?

We are an independent Bible-believing church with a commitment to following Christ and a heart for our community.

At the Congregational Christian Church of Darlington, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our 10:30 a.m. worship service.

When you walk in, you'll find one of our greeters. They're usually stationed at the doors and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery and Sunday school rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.

During the service, you'll hear our faith in God and Jesus Christ expressed in the songs we sing, the prayers we offer up and in our pastor's message. We are committed to bringing truth from the Bible in such a way that it is understandable, relevant, and applicable to our lives.

After the service each month, you can join us for our "pitch in" lunch (you can pitch in just by being there) and give us a chance to get to know each other a little bit in a relaxed atmosphere.

No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday. Here at CCC, we welcome everyone to join us as we follow Christ. We hope you know that means you!

Our church is located at 101 Academy St. in Darlington. Parking is located in the lot behind the church, the other gravel lot across Academy Street, and on the street itself.  If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We also have handicapped parking with a ramp for walkers and wheelchairs in the lot behind the church.

Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that our congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. Jeans are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
